Riverview’s Octagon Optimist Club recently visited Harding Place this past weekend to assist residents with bingo. We enjoy meeting and helping the residents, and can not wait to fellowship again in the near future.

JES Updates
Three from our Jr High/High School campus (Ms Vanessa Duran, Coach Chuck Carr and Coach Stuart Hill) got the opportunity to go an visit a Leader In Me "Legacy Lighthouse" school with Vicksburg High School in Mississippi. They were celebrating black history in their "Leading a Legacy" program. Performances by their choir and dance teams, followed by a tour through many of their different programs that they have. Visitors got to learn from: Broadcast and Journalism, Aquaponics, Biomedical, Culinary, and Engineering. Many students were also "wax figures" as they dressed like a famous African American individual and would share with you many facts about that person. All student led activities and well done!!!

Our Sr Boys Basketball team are 3-3A Regional Champions!!! Won again tonight in dominating fashion by beating Jesseville 74-48. Will play in the State Tournament at Harrison beginning Wednesday night, 8:30 in the first round. Congratulations Boys!!!
Three of our elementary teachers (Ms Jessica Holcomb, Ms Callie Pigg and Ms Jamie Manor) got the opportunity to go and visit a Leader In Me "Legacy Lighthouse" school with Dana Road Elementary in Vicksburg Mississippi. Our teachers went into Pre-K - 2nd Grade classrooms while the kids got to show off what they have been working on concerning Leader In Me. Their Leadership Pledge (LEAD): Loyal, Eager, Accountable, Determined. Great experience to learn from others!
