Congratulations to  senior Brianna Staples!  She recently participated in the Thea Foundation creative writing contest where she finished in fourth place.  Brianna now has $7000 for college.  Thea Foundation provides scholarship opportunities to Arkansas students.

A group of 9th grade students spent the day in McGehee, Arkansas. The students visited the Rohwer Heritage Site, a Japanese Internment Camp, learning about WW II, The Holocaust, and life for Japanese Americans during in the 1940s.

Mrs. McCullough and Mrs.Clark’s Critical Reading class went to the Reynolds Performance Hall at UCA to view a production inspired by the novel Warriors Don’t Cry. After reading the novel in class, the students enjoyed  a performance that brought light to social responsibility, civil discourse, social media, and community engagement.
