Dear Parents and Guardians:
When the school start date was delayed by the Governor, the calendar for the year had to be adjusted. Parent-Teacher Conferences were scheduled for February 2 and 4 on the original calendar. Unfortunately, when the calendar was revised, these dates did not get adjusted. Since the beginning of the second semester was also moved back, the teachers could provide you better information if Parent/ Teacher conference dates were also changed to reflect the delayed start of the second semester. The Parent-Teacher Conferences are being moved to February 16 for Judsonia and Kensett Elementary Schools and February 18 for the junior high and high school. The conferences will be from 3:30 - 7:30 on both nights. Conferences will be in the same format as the fall with limited on site conferences available.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we work our way through this unusual school year.
Sincerely,
Stan Stratton
Raider Community,
A Statewide Community Resources Portal is being created in partnership with DESE and the AR Dept. of Human Services to share community resources in a one stop location. The resources listed have been gathered from school districts, community organizations, and other groups. For search purposes, Riverview is found in the Northeast region of the map.
If you are in need of services or know of someone in our community who is, you can access the portal at the following link:

Raider Community,
In observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, the Riverview School District will not be in session on January 18, 2021.
The Jr High wrapped up their rewards this week for showing growth on the Winter NWEA assessments. If students showed the growth needed in one subject area, they received a cookie during lunch last Thursday. Two subject areas, they enjoyed hot chocolate on Friday. Three subject areas, students got soda during lunch on Monday. A pizza party was given to these students as a reward for showing growth in all four areas on MAP Growth testing yesterday. We believe that ALL students can show growth and want to celebrate the success of our students!
