RHS Parents,
Report Cards will go out in your child's English classes today. If your child does not receive his/her report card, please notify the office for a copy.
Grades are also available online via the Parent Portal of HAC. If you need help with your username or password, please call the high school office for assistance.
In addition, any student with failing grades had their report cards mailed to the address on file yesterday.

For those of you who have vouchers for the socially-distanced band concert tonight, please remember the venue change. Due to COVID guidelines with the band members, the concert will take place in the gym (RAC) at 6:00 pm.

In observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, the Riverview School District will not be in session on January 18, 2021.
The Jr High wrapped up their rewards this week for showing growth on the Winter NWEA assessments. If students showed the growth needed in one subject area, they received a cookie during lunch last Thursday. Two subject areas, they enjoyed hot chocolate on Friday. Three subject areas, students got soda during lunch on Monday. A pizza party was given to these students as a reward for showing growth in all four areas on MAP Growth testing yesterday. We believe that ALL students can show growth and want to celebrate the success of our students!

Please see the attachment for a copy of the semester exam schedule for next week. Review Day will be Wednesday, January 13th. Exams will take place on Thursday and Friday, January 14-15.

Congratulations to Weston Gordon, team Chief_Kingdom, who placed 2nd in the Fall 2020 Stock Market Game out of 104 teams in the Elementary Region 4 competition with an overall growth of 6.54% and a total equity of $118,112.00.
A big thanks to First Security Bank @fsbank in Searcy for donating a gift card. We are also very proud of Shannon Moore, who placed in the competition earning him a medallion! Congratulations to both of you!

The Amazing Race!! JES 4th is attempting to design to best snow sled to race down the mountain. Students have to design and build a sled. They then test the design to see how many cubes the sled can successfully carry down a slope.
Congratulations to the Kensett Elementary School Spelling Bee finalists! 6t h place-Harlee Harmon, 5th place-London Hicks, 4th place-Sierra Brown, 3rd place-Layla Balentine, 2nd place-Zaibrien Williams, 1st place-Jacee Arnold.
The White County Bee will be held in January 2021.
Students in Mrs. White's grief group concluded with making keepsakes in memory of their loved ones. The ribbons inside represent memorable qualities about those they have lost such as happy memories and comforting times they shared together.
