Congratulations to our students who received awards at the end of the year ceremony! Students received awards based on academic performance and outstanding character traits.





KES 5th graders visited the Old Mill and the Arkansas Art Museum. ⚓️ Anchoring learning in experience 💜


The KES 5th graders studied an economics unit. They created a Market Place complete with money for students to purchase their items. 😃





Junior high students participated in a presentation about Rachel's Challenge yesterday, and selected students participated in a group training to begin a Friends of Rachel Club. The purpose of the club is to encourage acts of kindness among students and create more positivity throughout the school. Our students are motivated to start a chain reaction!💜


Riverview 6th grade had a glimpse of the Junior High life today during Student Orientation. Thank you for hosting us Coach Hill and Mrs. White! 💜

Please join us tonight in the Fine Arts Center at 6:30 for a community event to learn more about Rachel's Challenge. This is a program that focuses on creating a positive change in both individual students and school climates as a whole. Our junior high kids learned more about the program today and participated in group training, and the high school will be participating tomorrow. Sandwiches, snacks and drinks will be provided at the event tonight. We hope to see you there!


Mrs. Chapman’s Arkansas History class had the opportunity to Skype with Senator Boozman yesterday. Students gained a greater understanding of how our government works and asked a variety of questions concerning his personal and political background.
Jimmy Harris, a Field Representative from Senator Boozman’s Little Rock office, was a classroom guest. He visited with students and answered questions prior to Skyping with the senator.



Our JR High Student Council enjoyed their field trip to Heber Springs.

Riverview Parents and Patrons: The immediate threat of severe weather has passed and the all clear has been given. We are dismissing students and loading buses to head home. Please stay safe this evening.

Riverview Parents and Patrons: 21st Century after school services at the Jr. High/ High School will be cancelled today.

Riverview Parents and Patrons: The Kensett Elementary Honors Program and the High School Choir Spring Concert will be postponed due to potential inclement weather. These events will be rescheduled at a later date. Those dates will be communicated as soon as they are set. Please make sure you go to safe space this evening as severe weather moves through.

Riverview Parents and Patrons: The National Weather Service currently has White County under a Tornado Warning in effect until 2:45pm. All students and faculty have been moved to the safe rooms on each campus. We are watching weather reports to ensure students are safe. Bus routes will NOT be ran until the threat has moved through the area. Again, all students are in the safe rooms on each campus and will remain there until the all clear is given.
