Riverview alumnus Vanessa Valienta and her mother turned their hobby of couponing into donating to the junior high and high school hygiene closet! They donated soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and deodorant.
Attention Riverview Parents and Guardians,
The Riverview School District was notified today that a student at Riverview High School tested positive for Covid-19. The district point of contact followed guidelines set forth by the Arkansas Department of Health (ADH) and the Arkansas Department of Education (ADE). All parents of students and staff members who are identified as a probable close contact have been contacted directly. If you were not contacted, then your child is not considered a probable close contact.
Riverview School District is committed to the health and safety of our students, staff members and their families, and we will continue to be proactive in our social distancing and sanitation measures as well as keeping communication lines open. Both Jr and Sr football games this week vs Bald Knob have been cancelled. We will continue to update the school website if there are any changes as quickly as we can.

Tonight’s home Sr Football game vs CAC is not sold out at this time. There will be roughly 100 tickets at the ticket gate, beginning at 5:30pm, that will be sold on a first come/first serve basis. Tickets are $4 for adults and $3 for students.

There will be quiz bowl tryouts on Monday, September 14th, right after school in Mr. Ortiz's room. If you cannot make it, you can email him, or go by his room to talk to him.

Riverview Parents and Guardians,
The U.S. Secretary of Agriculture announced this week that the USDA will extend the free summer meals program to all students through December 2020. The Superintendent of Riverview Schools has applied for the waivers to extend this program throughout the district for the remaining of the fall semester.
This meal program will offer free meals to all children in our district throughout the fall semester, helping to ensure – no matter what the situation is on-the-ground – children have access to nutritious food as the country recovers from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Parents and Students,
The two-week trial for instructional options (virtual v. on-campus) ends Friday, September 4th. Please contact your campus administrator if you need to switch options or have questions.
Moving forward, on-campus students may only be counted present for school if they physically attend classes on-campus. The only exception to this procedure will be if our district COVID contact, Dr. Heather Allison, notifies the campus administrator and parent(s) regarding quarantine statuses.

Volleyball games this evening at Palestine have been postponed due to the threat of severe weather.
KES Virtual and On-Campus students must have enrollment forms turned in this week. If you need another packet, please contact the office at 742-3221.
For many of our football games this year we will be having pre-sold tickets ONLY. You will not be able to purchase tickets at the gate. On Monday-Tuesday of game week tickets will be sold to football players parents. If cheer/band is participating then those parents will be able to purchase as well. Beginning Wednesday, tickets will be sold on a first come first serve basis to anyone. Seating is limited and you will be required to wear mask. Thursdays game at CAC is $5. Friday’s home game vs CAC is $4 for adults and $3 for students.
