Attention Riverview Parents and Guardians, We are looking forward to welcoming our students back to campus tomorrow (Monday, August 24)! All campuses will open at 7:30 am. If you are a student in our virtual learning option, it has come to our attention there is a temporary problem with Google Meets. Our tech department is working hard to resolve this issue, so please be looking for updates and class information in Google Classroom tomorrow.

Riverview Jr High procedure for the first morning of school for on-site students. We are looking forward to having students back on campus and especially meeting our new 7th graders. Getting to know our students will be our first priority this week!

I am excited to get the school year underway. I know there will be a lot of concerns about student health and safety this school year. Please know that we are doing everything possible to keep students safe. The following are the new bus guidelines: ● All bus drivers and students will be required to wear masks while being transported. ● Each bus will have a mounted hand sanitizer for students to use entering and exiting the bus. ● Social distancing will be enforced, when possible. ● Seating charts will be mandatory and strictly enforced. ● Each bus will be sanitized after each route. ● Buses will be running 15 minutes later this year due to the drop off time at the elementaries being changed to 7:30 a.m. One of my main goals as Transportation Director is school bus safety. I am very passionate about student safety, and it is very important that students always follow the bus rules and safety guidelines. Please instill in your students the importance of following school bus rules and safety guidelines. I would also like to welcome two new bus drivers, Mrs. Lori Trickey and Mrs. Jennifer Jones. Football Parent Meeting: Parents, we will have our long awaited and overdue football meeting 6:30pm next Tuesday the 25th in the high school cafeteria. Please wear masks and adhere to the proper distancing policies. We will be relaying important information on our seasons, both high school and jr. high. Hope to see you there!

Riverview Junior High School Supply List *Students are asked to carry ONE set earbuds with them for use in all classes. Headphones are usually provided, but students are not permitted to share with COVID restrictions.

Reminder to Elementary Parents: Today is the day to pick up your child’s device at the elementary schools.

For our scrimmage game this week, as well as future football and volleyball games, we want our fans to understand that both AAA and State guidelines will be in place. Mask will be required while inside the stadium. Everyone, other than families, will need to sit 6ft a part from one another. We have marked off every other row to help. Children in 6th grade or below will need to be accompanied by an adult. We all want our student athletes to play. Please do your best to help us continue. Go Raiders!

The Save the Children Give Away is going on at the elementary schools today 8-1 and tomorrow 1-4. KES cafeteria JES safe room

Save the Children organization has donated items to our Riverview Elementary schools. We will be giving this past years elementary enrolled students the following items- Grade level workbook, packet of scholastic books and soap. Insta pots are available on a first come basis. We appreciate their partnership and generosity to our community.
