2019 Pre-K and Kindergarten Round Up

Riverview Parents and Patrons: Earlier today, a video was created as part of a class assignment by students depicting minority students experiencing racial slurs and behaviors. The video has been removed from all Riverview social media pages. We are conducting a complete and thorough investigation into this matter. The Riverview School District does not condone this type of behavior under any circumstances. We work diligently to ensure the rights of all students are respected to the fullest degree. We are a community filled with diversity that we seek to celebrate each day. Please know that this matter will be fully investigated and the appropriate measures will be taken to ensure incidents like this do not happen in the future. -Dr. David Rutledge, Superintendent
