Riverview High School was well represented at the 46th Annual session of Arkansas Governor’s School. This year, RHS had both students and faculty in attendance.
Johnathan Peek and Julianne Ramsey were among the top 370 students in the State of Arkansas who studied in specialized areas at Arkansas Tech University—Johnathan (Math)

These students have earned the prestige of being an Arkansas Governor’s School Alumni, which can lead them to many post secondary opportunities.
Mrs. Hicks and Mrs. McCullough both were selected by the Arkansas Department of Elementary and Secondary Education to serve as Area 3 (Personal and Social Growth) instructors. AGS currently has at total 36 instructors, with only seven of them being public school teachers. Riverview is currently the only school district in the state with two instructors who are AGS faculty.

Reminder: Football practices start Aug. 4th at 3:30 sharp for all 8-12th graders. Be ready to go with helmets, t-shirts and shorts. If you don’t have your equipment be at the field house at by 3 to pick it up. Players should wear black athletic shorts.
Football parent’s meeting (all ages) is at 7:30pm on Monday in the High School commons area. After Open House.

Riverview School District's PreK program is an ABC preschool program. We are no longer able to provide transportation for preschool students due to regulations for transportation with the ABC program. PreK parents will have to provide transportation for their student.
Riverview Primary School on the Kensett campus is where PreK is located this school year. PreK students will enter on West Barnett Street. Parents must sign student in each morning and out in the afternoon.
